Do I need to buy tickets in advance?
We recommend you buy your tickets in advance as soon as possible as capacity is currently reduced to 50% due to social distancing rules. If the capacity limits change, more tickets will be made available.
Please pre-book. Tickets can be bought up to midnight the night before a performance (if available). It is likely tickets will not be available to buy on-site unless the capacity limit is lifted.
When and where do the performances take place?
We perform outside, on the Theatre Lawn at National Trust Polesden Lacey, RH5 6BD.
Our car park will open at 12.30pm with access to the Theatre Lawn allowed from 1pm for picnics. The performance starts at 2.30pm each day.
Do I need to pre-book a ticket for National Trust Polesden Lacey as well?
No. Those with tickets to the play do not need to pre-book or pay for National Trust entry after 12.30pm.
If you would like to arrive earlier than 12.30pm to visit Polesden Lacey house or gardens, you can pre-book Polesden Lacey entry via the National Trust website.
What are the seating arrangements this year – and can we bring our picnics?
Picnics are very welcome! Please bring with you portable chairs, blankets, cushions or whatever you wish to sit on before or during the show. Groups without chairs will be seated near the front and groups with chairs behind, so everyone gets the best view possible. Please don’t bring sun umbrellas or gazebos, as we’re keen not to block the view for others.
If social distancing rules are in place, your group will be allocated a socially distanced pitch upon arrival. Please stick to allowed group sizes and if possible arrive with the group you are sitting with.
An accessible area will be pre-allocated with chairs provided. To book seats, please call the Box Office on 01306 881717.
What facilities are available?
We have our own car park at Polesden Lacey from 12.30pm and toilets next to the Theatre Lawn.

The National Trust are pleased to offer summer drinks and snacks during the interval – card payments only.
What if it rains? Can I have a refund?
Whatever the weather the show must go on! Refunds will only be possible if the event does not go ahead, and this is extremely unlikely as it is designed to cope with most weather conditions. Bring sun cream and a brolly just in case!
However, tickets will be refunded if coronavirus rules change requiring the performance to be cancelled.
